A twin bed is the perfect size for either one child or one adult. If the spring count is too low then the mattress will become concave faster, which would make it less comfortable in half the time. A high quality beds set will last you a long time, while those that are not only last you for a few years. With those that are made of memory foam, you need to pay attention to the foam density. The phone density should be at least 5 pounds per square inch in order to give you the best contouring and comfort. 7 pounds per square inch is the optimum density.
Just because a twin bed is a smaller size than what most people use doesn't mean that they have any less variations in quality than any other size of bed. There is plenty of variation within the twin size because of the fact that both children and adults alike use this size bed.
