The bed sheets can be purchased separately or with a flat sheet and pillow case. Those sold individually are known as open stock. If purchased with other bedding, it is called a complete set or set. The set can have a pillow case for twin beds or a couple for the various other sizes.

Those who want coordinated bedding should purchase the set. But if you want to make a specific theme, it's better to buy open stock.

Using Fitted Sheets

Some people have problems with the fitted sheet because they don't always stay put. Majority of mattresses have standard widths and lengths. But they don't have standards for thickness.

A fitted sheet with a high thread count will be more comfortable and durable than one with a low count. 300 and higher thread counts will be very soothing.
